Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive - Answer phone calls to assist patients - Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar - Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments - Update patient records with accurate and current information - Assist with medical billing and coding tasks as needed - Maintain a clean and organized reception area Skills:
- Excellent professionalism, friendliness, communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems a plus As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk of our medical facility.
